Compensation: $85,000 / year + Summer & Winter Bonus eligibility after 6 mo. continuous employment
Travel: Up to 50% travel required. Approximately once a week (several days per trip)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Japanese Bilingual Technical Sales/Application Engineer (Grinding Machines) to lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and post-installation support for our grinding machine products. This role serves as a critical technical bridge between our U.S. customers and our Japanese headquarters.
We are seeking a Japanese Bilingual Technical Sales/Application Engineer (Grinding Machines) to lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and post-installation support for our grinding machine products. This role serves as a critical technical bridge between our U.S. customers and our Japanese headquarters.
1. Core Responsibilities(業務内容)
- Technical Sales & Demos: Accompany sales reps to customer sites, deliver technical presentations, and install company products on customers' grinding machines for live demonstrations.
- Sales Follow-up: Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting to ensure product performance and secure the final sale.
- HQ Liaison (Technical Support): Directly communicate with Engineering and Production departments at the Japanese parent company in Japanese. This includes asking complex technical questions, interpreting feedback, and relaying solutions to the U.S. team/customers.
- Installation & Service: Oversee the setup and fine-tuning of products on-site to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Qualifications & Requirements(応募資格・条件)
- Education: Technical high school diploma or University degree in Engineering/related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the machine tool industry.
- Language Skills: Professional proficiency in Japanese (Reading, Writing, Speaking). Must be able to handle technical discussions with engineers in Japan via email and phone.
- Work Authorization: Must possess a valid U.S. Permanent Residency (Green Card) or a valid work visa.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel weekly (several days per trip) to customer sites.
3. Preferred Experience (Prioritized)
- High Priority: Sales, demo, installation, or field service experience at a Grinding Machine manufacturer.
- Second Priority: Broad experience in the general Machine Tool industry and /or Metrology industry.
- Alternative: Hands-on experience in operating or maintaining grinding machines at a manufacturing facility.
